Top 3 Superbikes of 2020

2019 was a great year for superbike enthusiasts, and for motorcycling in general. And 2020 looks even better, with the recent unveiling of several new awesome machines.

In this article, we will take a look at three of the best superbikes now on the market.

The 2020 KTM 890 Duke R

First teased at the EICMA 2019, the 2020 KTM 890 Duke R is a step ahead of its predecessor, the KTM 790 Duke.

While it maintains the parallel-twin powerplant, there have been several upgrades, including higher displacement, enhanced crankshaft, improved piston design, and higher compression ratio and redline.

Besides improved performance, KTM promises that the 2020 890 Duke R will be even sportier than earlier models, with a better ability to conquer hard riding racetracks.

The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja H2R

Poised to take its place among the best racing motorcycles in 2020, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R boasts a 998cc supercharged engine that delivers a whopping 310HP.

It can hit an impressive top speed of 248.5mph and accelerate from 0 to 60mph in only 2.5 seconds.

Unfortunately, however, it is not street-legal. This is due to the fact that it uses Kawasaki racing components; lacks essentials like side mirrors and indicators; and tags along with racing slick tires.

The 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa

The Hayabusa is still Suzuki’s fastest motorcycle, and this year’s edition brings on board a 1340cc engine that delivers an impressive 197HP.

With a 6-speed constant mesh transmission, it can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in only 2.5 seconds. The 2020 model is available in two colours: Candy Daring Red and Metallic Thunder Grey.

Among its unique features is a Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS), which allows the rider to customise power delivery depending on riding conditions.

The above are among the best superbikes of 2020. But other worthy mentions include the MTT Y2K Turbine Superbike, the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird, and the MV Agusta F4 RC.
